Senior Engineer

Job Positions

Requirements / Skills:

• BE (Bachelor of Engineering). Minimum 10-15 years’ design drafting experience in the oil and gas industry or related process industries and 5 years of supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the operation of a modern CAD Design based multi-discipline drawing office.
• Excellent experience in design modules. Good AutoCAD skills, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet capability.
• Good experience in site verification, As-Building activities (i.e. Walkthrough, Interpreting data from 3D laser Scanning, etc.), and use of Smartplant review or Navisworks.
• Good general knowledge of the Standards and Codes applicable to drawings prepared for the Oil industry.
• Ability to organize and priorities multi-disciplinary design drafting work to meet the target dates.
• Strong leadership skills, with written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of the English language. Familiar with multi-discipline drafting/modeling functions (Electrical / Instrumentation, Piping / Mechanical / Civil/ Structural) and specialist in one major discipline e.g. piping / Mechanical, and one of the tools of PDS/MICROSTATION/SP3D).

• Diploma in Engineering Technology from a Technical Institute.
• Minimum 10 years of design drafting experience in the oil and gas industry or related process industries and 5 years of supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the operation of a modern CAD-based multi-discipline drawing office.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet capability.
• A good understanding of AutoCAD enhancement programs.
• Ability to organize and prioritize design drafting work to meet the target dates.
• Good experience in site verification, As-Building activities.
• Working knowledge and application of the Subsea & Onshore Pipeline codes, standards/specifications including installation practices for the Oil/Gas industry.
• Expert interpretation of Geophysical and Geotechnical Survey data required for pipeline engineering inputs required for further analysis and design.
• Strong leadership skills, with written, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Good command of the English language.
